Reviews

This was our first time here! The food was delicious. My husband had the bandito skillet with half green chili and half gravy. I had the sunrise skillet with green chili and both were so good. We also had the pancakes. We sat at the bar and were mesmerized watching the chef cooking. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful choice! The food was spot on! The biscuits were homemade! The pancake was perfect, tasted like a cake and they served warm syrup.. my egg was over medium and it was the best I ever had made, hats off to the cooks! We were seated right away and served drinks right away. The owner was serving too! She was sooo welcoming. I couldn’t same enough about how great this experience was.. I highly recommend this spot.. See y’all next time. Maybe in 6months Suzie. Thank you for such a great experience..

On a short vacation we wanted breakfast that wasn’t fast food. We picked this place based on reviews. Loved it. The breakfast food I got wasn’t exactly my thing, but it tasted good, wasn’t chintzy. The help was good, friendly, and the place was clean and pleasant. I wish I could have hit the place for dinner.

If you like diner food, this place is great! I had a grilled cheese and my husband got a French dip. Both were delightful. The staff is super friendly. It took a bit to get food but they make each plate to order so it is to be expected. Overall LOVED it!

Really good breakfast sandwich. Wish they had cinnamon rolls every day but I’m sure they’re worth it to wait. Will be back on Friday to get one. Edit:came back this morning for a roll. One of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend snagging one if you can (I got two, one to have for later). So good!

Arrived at prime time(1145 Sunday morning), one table inside and one outside were available - 7 inside, 2 out). I sat at the counter (4). Greeted right away, super friendly staff. Photo is a Cowpoke Skillet after I plowed in to it. Best biscuit I’ve had in a while. I was able to finish half my plate of food; the rest had to go with. This is one of those places where everyone (staff) calls the owner Mom and they are all rowing in the same direction. Great place to hit if you’re going to/from the dog park, a bike ride, or a hike up in the canyon. If you get the cowpoke, be advised that they cube up the chicken fried steak so it’s about the size as the potatoes, which were perfect BTW. My new Westside local.

This cafe is the perfect place for traditional American breakfast and an old diner feel. We got some basic breakfast items such as French toast and eggs, no complaints! It was nice to sit outside and watch the birds in the fields, it has a great view of Cheyenne mountain as well. Our servers were all kind and kept our coffee filled and were great to chat with. There’s something comforting about simple classic breakfast food, especially from a small local business. We will be back!
